Sesame seeds are a great source of dopamine. They're a great help for those experiencing difficulties with sleep or depression. They will help regulate serotonin and melatonin, and best of all the're all natural.

For me, the best approach is to consider the mind, body, and soul connections. I beat depression by; going to therapy, changing my diet, exercising, and most of all — finding the determination to discover the causes and get help. You can see my depression self help videos with the tips that worked for me on DepressionHero.

thanks, i learned a lot from this. I tend to eat only as a means of feeling better and have as a result gone days eating mostly cereal and sugary carbs. When I'm depressed I really don't care about what I do to my body but hopefully now i will be more motivated to eat healthier.

This is very true…. when I use to eat trash from checkers and pizza etc, I felt weak like an old man… and I was irritable.

This still surprises me, just how many people don't know about Proladox Diet Plan (google it), even though a lot of people get good results with it. Thanks to my buddy who told me about Proladox Diet Plan, I have lost lots of weight with it without starving myself.

BS. You obviously didn't have a nutritionally balanced diet. It's proven that a diet affects mood. How you view the world is all in your brain which is affected by the chemicals the food releases in your body. Don't call a video BS just because you didn't do it right.

there is no evidence to prove people who suffer depression have reduced levels of serotonin or any other neurotransmitters.the chemical imbalance theory is a very stupid one made to con people into taking drugs that raise serotonin.like prozac and other ssris.this "myth" was made very popular to sell prozac by Eli Lilly.-the only biochemical imbalances in the brains of people who see psychiatrists are the ones put in there by the psychiatrst-Dr Peter Breggin.MD

This guy is talking about "the old paradym" that just don't work for everyone, with various digestive weaknesses in assimilation.  Our meats are tainted today, our grains are "very, very hard to digest too."  Whole grains are hybridized and genetically modified today.  We need essential things in our diets, however,….now we essentially need to be "millionaires" in order to be able to afford "clean meats, and other foods."

There are seven major classes of nutrients found in food: carbohydrates, dietary fiber, proteins, lipids (fats and oils), vitamins (both fat-soluble and water-soluble), minerals, and water

My mental hospital should be seeing this and incorporate such ingredients in the food catering. For celebrating successes, gatherings should also look into healthy natural foods for the brain.

I try to eat a rawfood diet containing only nuts and fruits. I never really liked vegetables.
I used to be addicted to sugar and I think that's a reason for my depression.
