My friends will vouch for me when I say that I'm all for the advancement of technology for practical and pleasurable purposes — but I cannot stand ideas like this. It's merging whatever it is one purchases with his or her social network, and it merely avoids the already-simple process of having an employee swipe your card at the register and printing out your receipt. I think it also makes your funds more vulnerable than they already are these days. Make robots, AI, prosthetics, etc. Not this.

@iZettle Thanks for the answer. I actually didn't know that about PIN in mobile devices… but again, is it regulatory or technological obstacle (like one of insufficient cryptography in smatphones?). There are (kind of legacy ) GSM POS terminals (i.e. mobile devices), which accept PIN.

@iZettle Hi! Thanks for your answer! I didn't know about the "no PIN on mobile" issue, actually. Is it a regulatory or IT-related hurdle (e.g. smartphones don't provide strona enough crytptography)? For, the old-school GSM POS do handle chip…

Not to sound like a boring tax guy, but is this legal in Sweden for business owners? I'm asking cause the Swedish Tax agency demands a receipt for every transaction, wanted by the customer or not, to be physically printed and handed over to the customer… How have you handled this dilemma?

@FredrikMedia, izettle is an replacement for tre payment terminal, not for the cash register. If you are required to have an certified cash register this won't charge, but under some cases here in Sweden you still don't have to use certified cash registers.
